This is a bit difficult because everyone's technique is different, but the basis comes down to recording the clips you want on the sims 2 in cameraman mode (which you do by pressing tab and then pressing v or clicking on the video camera icon) and importing those clips from your folder of sim movie clips into some sort of movie editing program. Check the links page for useful tutorials.

Where do you get your custom content?
I get my custom content from A LOT of sites, so if I can't tell you where I get an exact item from, then apologies, because sometimes I get one thing from one website and I may not visit it again. Usually I get my cc from sites like the sims 2 exchange, tsr, closet fusion, xm sims, etc. but I live for modthesims2, raonsims, peggysims2, stylist-sims and rosesims - those are kind of my faves. Check the links page for cc sites I visit, and believe me, there's A LOT =]

I would LOVE to be able to spend a lot of time watching and commenting other peoples' videos (I mean there are some REALLY talented people), but I just don't really have a lot of time atm to be honest. I try my best to watch and comment vids when I can, so don't get offended if I don't do so straight away. I just get very busy sometimes.
